The Holy Gaon Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein Av Beis Din of Snina, Slovakia [1884-1942] the beloved Son-in-Law of the famous Holy Rebbe Yeshaya’le of Kerestir, a disciple of the Pnei Mevin. Since 1910 served as Rav of Snina and headed a large and important yeshiva.

The Holy Gaon Admor Rabbi Refael Bloom of Kosice [d. 2005] was born in Kosice, Slovakia. Prior to the Second World War, he founded a yeshiva in Hungary. After the war, in the summer of 1945 he returned to Kosice and put forth efforts to reestablish the Jewish community. Together with other rabbis, he was able to free more than 200 agunas so that they could remarry. He wrote a noted elegy for the Holocaust victims.

Overall in Good condition, title page laid to, marginal worming to last 2 pages, original binding damaged.
