Antal Bachruch hailed from Budapest and was known as K & K purveyor to the court drawings. Antal’s production consisted of both silver and jewelry from around 1870-1890. He started as an important silver and jewelry retailer and slowly began importing silver and jewelry to Budapest at the turn of 19th/20th century. The company grew and became know as A.Bachruch was added to premade silver pieces. After some time and some success the firm changed names to “A.Bachruch succ.“ which can also be seen stamped on certain pieces in Austria.
