Stamp of Rav Moshe Chaim Lau (5652-5703) One of the great Polish rabbonim before the holocaust. Son-in-law of the Ahavas Yisrael Admor (second marriage) of Vizhnitz. At the age of 17, he was given semicha by the Maharsham, Rav Meir Arik and the Machazeh Avraham. Served as Rav in Presov and after his cousin- the Maharam Shapira moved to Lublin- he served in his place in the Piotrkow Rabbinate- until he perished in Treblinka Hy"d. His son became the Chief Rabbi of Israel- Rav Yisrael Meir Lau.
