The holy Gaon Rabbi Elezer Chaim Deutsch, one of the greatest Meshivim was born in 1850, one of the Geonim of Hungary. Studied with the holy Gaon of Holmin and with Maran Rabbi Yehuda Assad and was a leading disciple of Maran the Maharm Esh.
For twenty years he served as Rav of Hunschewitz and for twenty years as Rav of Bonyhad, where he was also a Posek and Rosh Yeshiva of hundreds. Was a great Mashiv in Hungary and there is no Shut Sefer that does not refer to him, he also answered teshuvos the world over..
He authored Seforim on all subjects of the Torah until his passing in 1915.
. His son the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Moshe Deutsch was the son-in-law of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer author of Hitorerus HaTeshuva of Erlau. His renowned son-in-law was the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yosef Hacohen Schwartz author of Vayelakes Yosef, a renowned Rav of Hungary between the two world wars.
R’ Moshe Larber/Lorber, was a known Talmid Chochom & a close disciple of Rabbi Deutch. He later lived in Stropkov where he was a close Chasid of the Rebbe of Stropkov, he died young.
Long writing by his close disciple the Tzadik Rabbi Zev Wolf Wilner of Likov, later of Plownitz & Munkatch.
Stamps of Rabbi Asher Zev Werner Rabbi of Tiberias.
Signature: Moshe Zev Hakohen Adler of Illok. He was later Rosh Hakohol in Boniyad.
Signature of the Rabbi’s son: Akive Shlomo Deutsche of Subotitze, 1921.
