by Rabbi Yisrael Moshe ben Aryeh Leib, Rabbi of Kórnik and Zablodov.

The Sefer is divided into three parts. The main part is responsa. The second is the Talmudic novellae, and the third is sermons delivered by the author. The Sefer has approbations from rabbinic leaders of that generation, such as Rabbi Akiva Eiger, from Dayanim of Lissa with the permission of Rabbi Ya’akov Loberbaum of Lissa, author of Chavat Da’at, and other approbations.

Halachic correspondence with Rabbi Akiva Eiger, who writes about the author ‘kindred spirit’ – and Rabbi Ya’akov Loberbaum of Lissa.

First edition Warsaw, 1811.

On the title page: ownership stamp and signature of Rabbi  "Yaakov David… Yudkowitz, rabbi of Grojec". R. Yaakov David Yudkowitz (died 1893), son of R. Yechiel Halpern of Kalisch, rabbi of Grojec, was previously rabbi in the communities of Serock and Zukowice. He left many manuscripts on all areas of Torah scholarship: responsa, commentary on the Torah and Prophets, commentary on the Talmud, Shulchan Aruch and Aggada.

Only a small number of these manuscripts have been published in the Sefer Yad Haketana (Warsaw, 1909). His son, R. Alexander Dan Yudkowitz, was the author of Sefer Orach Mishor (Lodz, 1933).
