The Gaon Rabbi Aharon Halevi Epstein was born in 1895 in Satmar to his father R’ Efrayim. Son in law of Rabbi Aharon Tzvi Kestenbaum In Tiso-Ullok. He studied under Rabbi Eliezer David Greenwald in Satmar & under Rabbi Chaim Eliezer Shapiro in Munkatch.
He was a Roshe Yeshiva in Belenish & from 1931 the Rabbi of the religious community of Prag. He perished in the Holocaust in 1944 Hy”d. Author of several Seforim.
Letters from his are scarce.
