This Siddur was published for the Spanish and Portuguese Community, who included many former Anusim (Crypto–Jews) and this edition includes special memorial prayers for ancestors burnt at the stake by the Inquisition (pp. 156-157), a prayer for the Royal Family in Portuguese, and a Jewish calendar for the years 1770-1883, with instructions in Portuguese.
