This somewhat crude little cup is entirely hand made, and bears the famous "12" hallmark of the Ukraine and parts of Poland. 12 cups were favored among Jews for kiddush cups, and this has a charming, naive depiction of a lion on it, perhaps referencing the name of the owner "Aryeh", or as a "Lion of Judah".

Pure, old-world Jewish folk art.

Weight 35 grams. 5.1 cm.
