Various ownership notations, inscriptions and signatures. Back binding leaf contains ownership notations in illustrated writing similar to stamp: “Of blessed memory Yisrael Abuchatzeira Arphad Budniv”, written in holy handwriting of the Baba Sali.

The Holy Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira – the Baba Sali (1889-1984), son of Rabbi Masoud rabbi of Tafilalet (Morocco), son of Rebbe Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira. Exalted genius in revealed and esoteric Torah, holy and pure from youth. Published writings of his grandfather Rabbi Ya’akov. Served as chief rabbi of Arphad and region. In 1950 immigrated to Jerusalem and in 1957 returned to Morocco. In 1964 returned to Eretz Israel and resided in the town of Netivot. Leading personalities flocked to his home for advice and blessing and was known as a miracle worker. His grandsons are famous Rabbis of the Abuchatzeira family.
