It was used by the fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe the Rebbe Rashab. He used this inkwell thru the last few years in Lubavitch. The town of Lubavitch did not have any electricity.

Desk clock of the Rebbe Rashab As Mrs. Chana Gourary tells the amazing story in the accompanying letter. This is no doubt the clock that sat on the Rebbe Rashabs desk in the town of Lubavitch and later in Rostov. Rebbetzen Sterna Sarah gifted it to her eldest Granddaughter shortly after Rebbe Rashab passed away. It arrived in the United States before Purim 1942 with the rest of the housewares and household items, that Rebbetzen Nechama Dinah had packed up at the beginning of World War II.

1000 Austrian Kronen note The Rebbe Rayatz gave his eldest daughter. The accompanying letter attests the Rebbe Rayatz was in Vienna in 1935 for medical treatment and held a Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen there.
