The title page says "Wien" although the place of printing is Warsaw [1856].

The printers of Warsaw sometimes used to write names of other cities on the title page due to the watchful eye of the censor. In this edition, the leaves of the Tanya differ from the format of the common editions (the format of the Vilna edition 1900 which is known to us today).
