This walking stick was gifted to Rabbi Shaul Shimon Deutch by Mrs. Chana Gourary, September 12, 1989. – see the accompanying letter.

”Sep 12, 1989

I hereby gift to Shaul Shimon Deutsch the silver walking stick of the Rebbe Rashab- my grandfather. My father and mother gave it to me as a gift. Shmuel Gourary gave it to him-1912.

*In the Sefer Likkutei Deburim Volume II pages, 686-702 the Rebbe Rayatz recounts all the visitors who came to visit his father on Purim.

Harav Shmuel Gourary visited and he bought this silver walking stick as a Purim gift for the Rebbe Rashab.
