This solid silver cigarette case has a lengthy dedication which reads "To Remember Forever to Reb Chaim Litvak the canopy that was shared between Yosef Teitelman and Feishel Biznas, the 18th of the Shevat, 1926".
Notice how the engraving above this dedication looks like the fabrics than hang from a wedding canopy. A personal keepsake from a world that would disappear completely in the coming years of the Second World War. Russian silver hallmarks clearly marked on the inside of the case.
