This sterling silver chanukah menorah is densely decorated with silver filigree. Beautiful applique work is featured on the backplate, notably that of a representation of the Temple Menorah. This exact depiction of the Temple Menorah is the one featured on the emblem of the State of Israel, which fits perfectly where this piece was crafted, which is the country of Israel. Underneath the Temple Menorah it has more applique in Hebrew that states "We Kindle These Lights". Circa 1950’s.
