A special polemical letter from the giants of Jerusalem & Tiberius about the attempt of the national committee to abolish the tradition of the Shadarot (emissaries) and to bring under its influence all Torah institutions, charity and kindness in Palestine. Of course, the Gedolei Yisroel rallied against this and appealed to influential rabbis abroad to act against the plot.
In the present letter they address the famous Gaon Rabbi Yehezkel Abramsky in London.

The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (1868-1948), a prominent Hungarian Gaon. Served as Av Bet Din of Galanta and Chust, In 1933, he immigrated to Eretz Israel to succeed Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld as Av Bet Din of the Eidah HaCharedis in Jerusalem. He led the Charedi Jewry in Eretz Israel with authority, He passed away in 1948 during the war.
The Gaon Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis [1864-1953] author of Liflagos Reuven and Rosh Av Beis Din of HaEidah HaChareidis of Jerusalem, a pillar of Hora’ah and Halacha. Rosh Yeshiva of the Ohel Moshe Yeshiva of Jerusalem.
The Gaon Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polansky, The Tepliker Rov (1876-1948), the father of the Psak and Hora’ah tradition, one of the greatest Poskim of all generations who taught many great rabbis and Poskim. At a young age served as Rav in several cities until he was accepted as the Rav of Teplik, where he served for about twenty years as Rav and Av Beis Din. Later, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel. Was renowned as highlyy knowledgeable and as a sharp Gaon. The greatest Poskim were his disciples or Meshamshim, including Maranan Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Fischer, Rabbi David Jungreis, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner, the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the Rishon LeZion the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef and more.
The Gaon Rabbi David HaLevi Jungreiz (1898-1972) was the Ra’avad of the Charedi Eda between 1968-1972. In 1931 he was appointed by Rabbi Yosef Chaim Zonenfeld as a dayan of the Badatz. After the death of Rabbi Pinchas Epstein he succeeded him as Ra’avad and was famous for his very stringent attempts to avoid all pretenses of corruption—he refused to sit in court for anyone who had done anything for him in the past.
The Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Ze’ev Mintzberg (1872-1962, Otzar Ha-Rabanim 12176). Born in Poland, grandson of Rabbi David and Rabbi Moshe of Lelov and grandson of Ha-Yehudi Ha-Kadosh from Peshischa. Rosh Av Beit Din for the Hassidic community, Rabbi of the Old City of Jerusalem and Rabbi in Katamon. Of the heads of Yeshivat "Hayei Olam" and the ttrustees of Kollel Warsaw and Ha-Va’ad Ha-Kelali".

The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Pesach Halperin was born in 1876. He served as a Rabbi in Gateshead, in 1925 he immigrated to Palestine where he was a Dayan.
The Gaon Rabbi Asher Ze’ev Werner (1894-1957) the Rav of Tiberius. was born in Jerusalem to Rabbi Simcha Bonim Dayan of the Beis Din of HaEdah HaCharedis. Studied at the Etz Chaim Yeshiva. Married the daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Manisyahu Sandberg (the grandson of Yessod HaAvodah) and therefore moved to Tiberius and studied at the Or Torah Yeshiva with his uncle. After he was widowed, he married the daughter of Rabbi Aharon Yosef Luria, an important Slonim Chassid. Rabbi Asher recieved his rabbinic Semicha by the Rav of the city the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Kliers, whom he succeeded as the Rav of the city. He also served as a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel
The recipient the Ga’on Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky [1886-1976] studied in his youth at the Novardok Yeshiva where he was close to the "Alter of Novardok" and at his request he even studied with his sons. At the age of 17 he was ordained by the city’s rabbi, Rabbi Yechiel Michel Epstein, author of Aruch Ha-Shulchan. He then studied at the Telz Yeshiva. He also studied at the Ramiles Yeshiva and in the "Kibbutz" of Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski in Vilna, and under Rabbi Chaim of Brisk.
He served as Rabbi of Slutsk, Smalian and Smolbichi. In 1923, in Slutsk he replaced Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, who had to flee because of persecution by the Communist regime. In 1925 published the first part of his commentary on the Tosefta. At the beginning of the winter of 1932 he settled in London and began serving as rabbi of the Machzikei Hadat congregation, and in 1933 he was appointed Dayan at the Rabbinical Court in London and two years later as head of the city’s rabbinical court. During these years he continued with his great enterprise – the interpretation of the Tosefta – "Chazon Yehezkel". In 1951, he immigrated to Israel with his family and settled in the Beit Vagan neighborhood in Jerusalem, In it he continued his work and spreading his teachings. author of Chazon Yechezkel on the Tosefta & many other works.
