The Admor of Alexander, Rebbi Yehuda Moshe Tyberg-Danziger (1893-1973, Encyclopedia of Chassidut, 2, pages 43-44), author of Emunat Moshe, gaon and wondrous tzaddik. Immigrated to Israel before the holocaust, following the counsel of his cousin, the Admor of Alexander author of Akedat Yitzchak, who told him that he sees dark clouds above the skies of Europe. After the holocaust during which all his uncle, the Admor’s family were killed, he was crowned by the remnants of the Alexander Chassidut as the Admor and he rebuilt its glory anew.

The recipient, Daniel Sirkis (1882-1965)) was one of the founders of the religious Zionist movement in Poland, a member of the National Committee during the Third Assembly of Representatives, chairman of the Jaffa and Tel Aviv Jewish Community Committee in 1933-1938, manager of the Mizrachi Bank branch in Haifa, and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Fund for Israel.
