The top surface of the holder is adorned with a lattice-like gilt pattern, with a central silver plaque laser-engraved with Hebrew script, "Shabbos Ve’Yom Tov" encircled by foliate designs.
Surrounding the central plaque is an elaborate gilt floral border, enhancing the elegance and intricacy of the design. The sides of the holder are silver with fine foliate laser-engraving, and the matchbox itself is inserted through a felt-lined opening on both sides, allowing for easy access.
The holder rests on four highly decorative gilt feet, each shaped in a square form with detailed patterns, adding stability and elevating the piece slightly.
