The Holy Admo”r Rebbi Avraham Weinberg (the Third) of Slonim, author of the Birkat Avraham [1888-1981], the nephew and leading disciple of the Admor the Maharash of Slonim and of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Kliers, author of Torat HaAretz. In his youth, travelled several times to the Tzaddikim of Slonim. One of these trips was immediately after the passing of the Beis Avraham of Slonim. In 1955, he was crowned the Admor of Slonim. Most of his life, he lived in Tiberius. In ca. 1960. he moved to Jerusalem. Was a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel. His Sichot and lessons were published in the series of books Birkat Avraham and Nachal Eitan.

The Holy Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Weinberg (the second) [1884-1933], was the Admo"r of Slonim in Baranovich, third generation in the dynasty of Admo"rs of Slonim. He is known by the name of his bookÖ² as "the Beis Avraham." He was born several months after the passing of his paternal grandfather, Rabbi Avraham Weinberg (I), author of Yesod HaAvodah, founder of Slonim Chassidus, and was named after him. His father was the Admo"r Mahara"sh, who served as the second Admo"r of Slonim Chassidut. In 1901, Rabbi Avraham married the daughter of the Admo"r of Lomz-Kotzk, grandson of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotzk. With his appointment as the Admo"r, he was also appointed Nasi Kollel Rizine, and was very active on behalf of the Chassidic settlement in the Land of Israel. His Chassidim in the Land included Rabbi Moshe Clears, rabbi of Tiberias, Rabbi Mordechai Chaim Slonim (later leader of Slonim Chassidut), Rabbi Asher Ze’ev Werner and many more. His book Beit Avraham is known for its depth of Chassidic thought, and the Beis Avraham Slonim yeshivah in Jerusalem is named after him.
