Two rare Polemic pamphlets regarding the controversy that erupted in Hull. UK in 1928.

The controversy: The community in the city of Hull, England bought a lot that was once a Church, with a plan to make a Shul out of it. In the basement, there were non-Jewish burial plots. After a tour in the building the Rabbanim Rabbi Yisroel Chayim Deiches and Rabbi Nachum Sinson allowed the Jews to daven there, and even the Kohanim. later on, when Rabbi Mordechai Tzvi Schwartz started to serve as the Rav in the City, he was told about this Heter, and he asked other Rabbanim that also said that it’s not allowed to daven there. Rabbi Deiches wrote a pamphlet "Taharos Hakodesh" where he writes that there were 6 burials in the side of the basement, but Rabbi Schwartz wrote that he saw 300 burials, but there is a suspect that they were found after some time. Against the pamphlet from Rabbi Deiches, Rabbi Schwartz wrote a pamphlet "Lehavdel Bein Hatameh Ve’Hatahor", to which Rabbi Deiches answered with the present  ‘Taharos Hakodesh", Kuntres 2. (see more in the periodical "Moriah" Kislev 1995).
