Novella on Tractate Sanhedrin. He also records novella of the noted Prague Gaon Rabbi Meir Fischel-Bumsla. Unpublished.

Identified as his holy manuscript by the famous maven Harav Shmerel Zitronenbaum many years ago.

The great  Gaon Rabbi Betzalel Rensburg (1762-1821), of the greatest Prague sages of his generation. Was among the Noda Bi-Yehuda’s disciples. In the introduction of his sefer “Horah Gever”, Rabbi Betzalel writes about his spiritual mentor: “Every Shabbat… I had to hear his words of Torah” and in his responsa, he refers to him as “the Greatest of the Acharonim”. Rabbi Betzalel sent some of his insights to his Rabbi, who responded to them in the second edition: “My dear friend, the exceptional young man… Rabbi Betzalel. Your words are good and your courage is great for having fought the Mesig and supported what I have written in the Noda Bi-Yehuda”.  His glosses on the Talmud were printed on the Talmud sheets in many editions.

He was also a disciple of Rabbi Leib Fisheles in Prague and later of Rabbi Elazar Kalir, author of Or Chadash of Kolín. Horah Gaver is the only sefer he printed during his lifetime. Many of his compositions and novellae were lost and recently his composition Chochmat Bezalel – Pitchei Nidah and a compilation of his responsa and novellae were printed. His Talmudic glosses were printed in the Prague Talmud editions and later also added to the Vilna editions titled Glosses of R.B. Ronsburg. His commentary on the Rosh, Sde Tzofim appears in the Talmud editions as well.
