The Gaon Rabbi David Weiskopf Ab”d Wallerstein. A student of Maran the Chatam Sofer. Born in 1798 in Gunzenhausen to his father Rabbi Yitzchak Zeligman, and also studied with the geniuses: Rabbi Abraham Boheim, Rabbi Avraham Bing and Rabbi Moshe Hechheimer. Son-in-law of Rabbi Zakil the brother of Rabbi Mendel Rosenbaum of Zell. He Lived in Würzburg. Served as Rabbi of Aub, Wallerstein, Wassertrudingen & Ottingen He died in his old age in the city of Kleinerdlingen in 1872 and was buried in Wallerstein
