The Gaon Rabbi Abraham Bozaldo (Boselado) was a Dayan in Thessaloniki and was wise and accepted in the Secret Torah. We do not have much and sufficient information about this sage. In the Sefer Lev Hacham Torat Hacham for the divine Rabbi Chaim Diliroza (Jerusalem 2017) a few Torah innovations were printed from him and an obituary from his handwritten note on the Torat Hacham’s passing from 1787, evident from the content of the sermon he was one of the sages of his generation in Thessaloniki. In the Sefer Dikdukei Chaveirim (Thessaloniki 1803) by he holy genius Rabbi Avraham Miranda Zt”l has an introduction by Rabbi Avraham Buzaldo. Rabbi Avraham’s son-in-law was the wealthy gentleman Avraham ben Mordechai Zalafar who was also a student and supporter of Rabbi Avraham Miranda Zt”l.
