Stunning Torah shield has beautiful floral and foliage motifs chased along the two side pillars and top and bottom frames. Large backplate is elegantly decorated with foliage scrolling designs at sides and top. Two glorious rampant lions superbly chased are holding unto and raising a cartouche styled crown above a holy ark with a Decalogue engraved on its hinged doors. A regal high arched banded crown with a leaf shaped fleur-de-lis is attached to top of backplate. Linked chain affixed to back of shield for draping over a Torah scroll.
