The Gaon Rabbi Joseph Aryeh Hacohen Rappoport was born in Brody, he lived in Krisnipoli & in his later years served as Rabbi of Sambir (Sambor).
The Divrei Chaim of Sanz addresses him as ‘ידיד ה.
253 written sides. 20.5 Cm.
Overall Good condition, some stains, page corners frayed, title page has marginal repairs, last page corner missing affecting text, later new maroon leather binding with some ink stains.
