Beautifully designed with two attached filigree columns flanking a holy ark which opens up to reveal a Torah scroll with a Star of David design within. Above it there is a Decalogue flanked by two rampant lions. At top is a filigree and silver crown with hanging bells topped by a smaller filigree and silver crown and a dove finial resting on the monde. A filigree scrolled rectangular case is connected to the backplate with am inserted flat plaque with the word shabbat written on it  in Hebrew signifying the shield was put on a Torah on shabbat. Five bells hang at lower bottom from the backplate.


Dedication on backplate reads in Hebrew " In Memory of Rachel Goldstein"
