Circa 1910 – 1920.

Each made of wood and inlaid shell designs. One box shows the Tower of David, while the other box has a portrait of Boris Schatz, the founder of the Bezalel school. In the 1983 Israel museum exhibit catalogs of "Bezalel 1906-1929", you can see other wooden items with identical inlaid designs of the Tower of David and the portrait of Schatz. The keyhole for the Schatz box is in the shape of a Star of David, and it is signed "Bezalel Jerusalem" in Hebrew

Condition: Overall great condition, some scratches on the boxes.
