Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Nachum Twersky was born in 1888 to Rebbi Mordechai of Shpykiv, he was the son-in-law of the famous holy Rebbi Yissachar Dov of Belz. He was exceptionally learned and sharp, especially with regard to communal matters, and thereof invested much efforts on behalf of the general community.

In 1914, he was appointed Admor in his father’s stead, but in 1919, he relocated to the home of his father-in-law, Rabbi Yissachar Dov. In 1923, he was appointed Rabbi of Rava-Ruska. He was killed in 1942 Hy”d.
