This silver chanukah lamp is almost regal in it’s design. The repeated ball forms on each arm represent the "almond buds" that the Torah states how the solid gold Temple Menorah should be decorated. While the center Star of David decoration is typical, it is embellished with an engraved Star of David inside it. The lower shaft has stylized acanthus leaf decoration, and the base has chased swirls referencing Rococo. For the well-to-do Jews of Vienna. Fully hallmarked, circa 1920.
